OUR STORY

The Junction Underground is Toronto’s newest west end venue. Built with locals in mind it is open for all to enjoy. Alex SenGupta (The Lakeview, Ding A Wing, High Park Cannabis Co.) and Drago Nagoda (High Park Cannabis Co.), who grew up in the area, hope to bring back some fun times in the former Junction City Music Hall.

After a full renovation past customers have said that they don’t recognize the space. With a selection of beer and cocktails they hope there is something for everyone, The hope is to bring live musicians back into the space very soon. They just want to make sure everything is tight and running smoothly for live artists to perform seamlessly.

Having comedy nights, open mic’s, and karaoke are some of the things that will be part of the programming as well as kids afternoon dance parties and maybe even a battle of the bands if the interest is there. There is no shortage of ideas and ways to become part of the fabric of the Junction and the city at large. They don’t really want to be cool, they just want to be good. Ultimately a safe inclusive environment is their ongoing and end goal.
